From US Highway 550:
- Follow 550 into Durango
- In Durango, 550 is also called Camino del Rio
- Directly across from Burger King, turn onto 15th St.
- Bear left at the top of 15th St., onto Florida Rd.
- Follow Florida Rd. approx. 10 miles out of town
- Turn left onto County Rd. 246 (a dirt road) - there is also a sign for Colvig Silver Camps
- Turn right under a large ponderosa sign for Colvig Silver Camps, and check in at the office.

From US Highway 160 East:
- Follow 160 east until it stops at a light in Durango
- Turn left onto Camino del Rio (also US Highway 550 north)
- Directly across from Burger King, turn right onto 15th St.
- Bear left at the top of 15th St., onto Florida Rd.
- Follow Florida Rd. approx. 10 miles out of town
- Turn left onto County Rd. 246 (a dirt road) - there is also a sign for Colvig Silver Camps
- Turn right under a large ponderosa sign for Colvig Silver Camps, and check in at the office.

From US Highway 160 West:
- Follow 160 west to the town of Bayfield
- Turn right at the light (with a Conoco gas station on the corner) onto County Rd. 501 (toward Vallecito Reservoir)
- Continue along CR 501
- Turn left onto County Rd. 240 (toward Lemon Reservoir)
- This road ends in approximately 3 miles
- Turn left, staying on CR 240 (toward Durango)
- After approximately 5 miles, turn right onto CR 246 (a dirt road) - there is also a sign for Colvig Silver Camps
- Turn right under a large ponderosa sign for Colvig Silver Camps, and check in at the office.

If your child will be flying to camp this summer, please ensure that they will be flying directly into the Durango/La Plata County Airport. Direct flights are available into Durango from Denver (via United), Phoenix (via America West/US Airways), and Salt Lake City (Via Delta). Please arrange your flights so that your camper will arrive between 10am and 3pm on opening day and leave before noon on closing day. We will provide tranportation to and from the airport and will have a staff member waiting at the airport all day to meet any campers whose flights may arrive early or late.

Campers under the age of fourteen are required to have an "Unaccompanied Minor" escort. Please read more about specific airline policies at United, US Airways, or Delta.
