So you want to keep in touch and stay involved with the CSC Community?

Wonderful! We hope you’ve registered above already! Now it’s time to dive into all things Alumni. You may be wondering WHY should I and HOW do I stay involved? Let’s get those questions answered.

Why?

• CSC relies mainly on alumni like you spreading the word about the Red Creek Valley. We’re always trying to get more campers and staff to the RCV to experience the magic that you once experienced. If it weren’t for friends, families and alumni spreading the word, CSC would not exist.
• So you can stay up-to-date on all things CSC! Especially updates on when the next reunion will be and how to register!
• So you can get our seasonal newsletters in the mail. We must have your current information for you to receive the seasonal newsletter!
• So we can let you know when the CSC slideshow will be in your area. Slideshows are not just for new campers, they are mini reunions as well!
• And most of all, so you can re-connect with old friends from your time spent in the Red Creek Valley!

How?

• First and foremost, REGISTER as a CSC Alumni!
• We are celebrating our 55th Summer in 2025, August 14th to August 17th, 2025!
• On a family road-trip and happen to be coming through Durango? Stop by the office and say hello! And look at some old photos we have on hand. We should be able to find a photo of you in less than 5 minutes.
• Spread the word about Colvig Silver Camps and your experience or write an alumni article for our newsletter or even a guest Blog post.
• Sponsor a scholarship camper or donate to the scholarship fund or the John Austin Cheley Foundation(JACF)
