Colvig Silver Camps has many great opportunities when it comes to summer employment. The goal of our unique and adventurous program is to fulfill our mission,

“To facilitate the development of caring, thoughtful and responsible human beings.”

Applicant Requirements

  1. Must be at least 18 years of age.
  2. Must be one year out of high school.

Can you answer yes to nearly every one of these questions?

  1. Do you have genuine love for working with kids in our natural world?
  2. Can you give 100% of your time and energy to someone else no matter the circumstances?
  3. Can you handle being a role model?
  4. Have you ever been backpacking or overnight camping?
  5. Are you a caring, thoughtful and responsible individual?

First Term: June 12 – July 10
Mid-Summer Break: July 10 – July 13

Last Staff Day: August 14

Pre-Camp Opportunities

Staff are allowed to show up to camp as early as May 10th for pre-camp work starting on May 11th. We have to get camp open and ready for the summer and can always use some extra help. Early staff arrivals for pre-camp work will live in a cabin and earn $65/day on days they work up until their employment agreement begins at which point they begin earning their summer salary.
